another first: gigi got her first credit card offer in the mail today. thanks delta skymiles!

queen of the monkey bars

gigi did the monkey bars all by herself yesterday! she now has a bandaid on the palm of her hand where the skin came off, but this was a big first -- swinging from one end of the monkey bars to the other, all the while facing a drop that was twice her height.

heat wave

it was 85 degrees yesterday in san francisco so her majesty and the princess dined al fresco.

gg says that there's this song they play at preschool after the naps. the boys really like it, but she thinks it's cool too. gives her a chance to practice air guitar. check out islay's air guitar too, as shows that she too can rock out.

la princesa de mazatlan

gigi never wanted it to end. last week in mazatlan, she played mermaid in the pool, got henna tattoos with mummy, covered herself in jewelry, and generally lived out your basic mexican princess fantasy. it was a wonderful vacation for all.

today was gigi's 4th birthday, which meant cake day at school. gigi had a blast. you could see it on her face during the walk home. thanks to you all for the sweet birthday messages.
